IPv4
IPv4 uses 32-bit addresses, allowing for about 4.3 billion unique addresses. Example: 192.168.1.1.
IPv6
IPv6 uses 128-bit addresses, providing a virtually infinite number of addresses. Example: 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334.
