Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using IP Tools Pro or the IP Scanner – Network Tools iOS application (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
IP Tools Pro ("we," "us," or "our") operates:
- Website: iptoolspro.com — a free suite of online network diagnostics, IP lookup, security, and privacy tools.
- iOS App: IP Scanner – Network Tools — a mobile application for network scanning, device discovery, and diagnostics, available on the Apple App Store.
Some features of the iOS app are available as paid subscriptions. The website remains free and no account is required to use it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
3. iOS App Subscriptions
3.1 Subscription Plans
The IP Scanner – Network Tools app offers optional auto-renewing subscription plans ("Premium") that unlock additional features. Current plan options and prices are displayed in the App Store and within the app at the time of purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency and may vary by region.
3.2 Free Trials
We may offer a free trial period for new subscribers. If a free trial is offered, its duration will be clearly stated before you subscribe. Your subscription begins automatically and you will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires. You may only use a free trial once per Apple ID.
3.3 Billing and Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you selected) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Renewal prices will not increase without your prior notice.
3.4 Managing and Cancelling Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time directly through your Apple ID account settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Tap IP Scanner – Network Tools and select Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until that date. We are unable to process subscription changes or cancellations directly — all billing is managed by Apple.
3.5 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not handle payment information or issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or follow Apple's standard refund process. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.
3.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing. If a price increase applies to your plan, Apple will notify you in advance and your subscription will not renew at the new price without your explicit consent, in accordance with Apple's policies.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
- Use the Service to scan, probe, or test networks or systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or data.
- Use the Service to conduct illegal activity, harassment, or distribute malware.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app or website.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to scrape or abuse the Service.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the website and in the app — including text, graphics, logos, interface design, tool functionality, and code — is the property of IP Tools Pro or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Third-party data sources, APIs, and libraries used within the Service retain their respective intellectual property rights.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services (such as Apple's App Store and payment infrastructure, IP geolocation data providers, and analytics providers). Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Network diagnostic results (IP lookups, port checks, traceroutes, etc.) are provided for informational purposes only and may not always reflect real-time or fully accurate network conditions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IP Tools Pro and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for a subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10 if no payment was made.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our discretion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
